Reviews of Purple Frog
I just finished reading Purple Frog, Harry Bunn’s foray into fiction authorship, his first and highly successful installment in a contemplated series. This thriller tells a contemporary story that resonates geopolitically and manages to sustain its pace from start to finish. The writer’s taut, spare writing manages to achieve a visual experience of the novel’s unfolding events that would readily lend itself to cinematic treatment or to a television series. Recommended reading!
The author’s clipped reportage style draws the reader into a web of international intrigue, with believable characters. Harry Bunn’s first novel will whet the appetite for more mystery from the Purple Frog Organization.
I found that the story moves quickly, with interesting characters. Intriguing and imaginative, with enough knowledgeable background to make one wonder if this could ever really happen. And, toward the conclusion, I couldn't put it down.
I really enjoyed this book. Quick pace, good story line, interesting characters with a twist at the end to boot!
A James Bond type thriller! Martinis, international intrigue and lusty women! Can’t wait for the sequel
